Yes, typically we can offer Sustainable Steel to order with delivery times varying between about 4 and 6 weeks. If the steel is already in stock, we can deliver on 1 business day.

Upon delivery of our Sustainable Steel, you will receive an official certificate showing that you have saved up to 82% CO₂. This certificate has been approved by DNV and is in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. In addition, we at KS Service Center are in the process of auditing for our ISO 14001 sustainability certification. This means that we do our business operations as sustainably as possible, which contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions, among other things.

All our grades of steel on our product sheet are also available with Sustainable Steel certificates. The grade meets the same mechanical properties imposed by Europe. The difference is that with Sustainable Steel you emit up to 82% less CO₂ and thus contribute to a more sustainable future.

When buying Sustainable Steel, it is wise to look broader than just price. If you don't, then Sustainable Steel is currently more expensive than steel produced with coal. If you or your client have set CO₂ savings goals, or your client has quota requirements (for example, in the construction industry), then Sustainable Steel is a competitive product with which you can gain an advantage over your competitor.
