50 years of KS Industries – Building the future together

On Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10, KS Industries celebrated a special milestone: our 50th anniversary! Two days dedicated entirely to connection, craftsmanship, and looking ahead. Together with our valued partners and colleagues, we reflected on a rich history and looked forward to an ambitious future.

An inspiring day with our valued partners

On Friday, we welcomed our partners for an afternoon filled with inspiration and innovation. Renowned architect and speaker Thomas Rau opened the program with his vision on sustainable and circular construction. His message highlighted the importance of taking responsibility for the future as a sector.

Our CEO, Leendert Noordzij, then took us on a journey through 50 years of entrepreneurship, begun by his father, Piet Noordzij, in 1975. With pride, he spoke about the ambitions that have shaped the company, and about a future where innovation and human capital take center stage. The goal: to offer the most optimal building system for our clients, driven by the growth and development of our people.

After the plenary session, our guests were given a guided tour through the factory. Along impressive machines such as the 12-meter flatbed laser and our new sheet metal line, they experienced the true strength of KS Industries: smart technology, high-quality production, and passionate craftsmanship.

We wrapped up the afternoon with a vibrant mini trade fair and a festive reception – a wonderful moment of connection, collaboration, and pride.

Familiyday on Saturday

On Saturday, we opened our doors to the families of our colleagues. During a tour across KS’s three locations, nearly 400 visitors got a behind-the-scenes look at our workplace – from production lines to design departments, where profiles are transformed into complete building projects.

There was plenty of entertainment for all ages, delicious food, and – as the grand finale – a spectacular evening celebration where togetherness and fun took center stage.

Grateful and proud

What became especially clear this weekend: the strength of KS lies in its people. In the craftsmanship we deliver every day, in the trust of our partners, and in the teamwork of our colleagues. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to these 50 years.

On to the next 50 years!
