KS Service Center processes strip steel in thicknesses ranging from 0.4 to 8.0 mm and slit widths from 25 to 1,575 mm. Depending on the application, various steel grades and surface treatments are available, including:

• Hot-rolled pickled steel for structural and industrial applications

By agreeing on the required width, tolerances, coil dimensions and packaging in advance, you receive material that is better suited to your production process. From Supplementary Orders to Continuous Production Volumes

Not every customer has the same material requirements. Sometimes an additional batch is needed at short notice. In other cases, a fixed volume must be delivered according to an agreed schedule.

For recurring deliveries, agreements can be made regarding stock management, call-off schedules and transport. This allows you to keep your own inventory manageable while ensuring that the material required for your production remains available.

Careful Packaging and Logistics

Quality does not stop once the strip steel has been slit. Packaging and transport also play an important role. We therefore tailor the packaging to your available forklift or lifting equipment, the required package weight and the way in which the steel will be unloaded.

Available options include:

• Coils packed upright, flat on a pallet or upright on a cradle pallet
• Protection using paper, foil or wood
• Pallets and timber in various dimensions
• PET strapping to secure the required number of coils together
• Export packaging using specially treated timber and delivery by container
